valhalla scientific is a technology leading manufacturer of precision electronic measurement and calibration instrumentation. in 1971, we introduced the world's first 3 1/2 digit multimeter with a built-in frequency counter. valhalla engineers, working with customer requirements, pioneered the use of automatic temperature compensation (atc) capability on several valhalla micro-ohmmeters. this feature minimizes the dramatic effect (measurement error) ambient temperature has when measuring resistance of conductive materials such as copper or aluminum wire. a detailed explanation of automatic temperature compensation is covered in the application section for ohmmeters.
