Research Diets, Inc. formulates and produces purified OpenSource Diets™ for all laboratory animals. Our Resource Center is staffed by PhD and Master’s level scientists who consult on diet formulations with researchers all over the world. We have formulated over 10,000 original diets, and regularly incorporate test compounds into diets at concentrations stipulated by our customers. We also manufacture the BioDAQ Food Intake Monitor. The BioDAQ system consists of our electronic monitoring system, which records the moment-to-moment, bout-by-bout feeding activity of animals being studied and BioDAQ Unplugged, which is useful for the manual collection of periodic food intake measurements.
