Metglas Inc is the worlds leading producer of amorphous metal ribbon used in distribution transformers. Metglas Ribbon has been produced commercially since the 1980's, and can be found in not only the electric transformer industry, but in the aerospace, automitive and medical industries. Metglas ribbon has a very unique magnetic structure that allows it to be magnetized and demagnetized very quickly making many power application much more efficient than previuos technoligies.
