Description

The 1st Contracting Squadron has a requirement to procure a CEREC InLab Dental Restoration System, a Milling Activation Key, a inEOS Dental Digitizer and a Computer system for inEOS Dental Digitizer for Langley AFB, VA. The 1st Contracting Squadron intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The 1st Contracting Squadron intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price purchase order with Sirona Dental Systems, LLC; 4835 Sirona Dr Suite 100; Charlotte, NC 28273. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339114. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the contracting officer within 7 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed. Responses are due by January 5, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. (local time). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
