The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items to provide one Orthopedic Surgeon and one Orthopedic Technician required for Government beneficiaries at Mountain Home AFB, ID 83648. Contractor care shall cover the range of services provided in a civilian medical treatment facility. Performance shall be according to the requirements contained in the performance work statement (PWS) and professional standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO). The solicitation will result in a firm fixed-priced contract with a base year and four one-year options. Base Year Period of Performance is 1 Jan 07 ? 30 Sept 07. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621111. This acquisition is unrestricted. A formal Request For Proposals (RFP) will be issued on or about 6 October 2006 via Fed Biz Ops. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award.
