the milwaukee children's choir was formed in 1994 in association with the milwaukee chamber orchestra. in 2000, it was reorganized as an independent nonprofit corporation. its purposes are: to foster the personal and social growth of children and promote their sense of self-worth, accomplishment, and pride; to attain the highest level of excellence in public and recorded performances; to increase the quality of singing in area schools; to provide a children's choir for concerts with the milwaukee chamber orchestra; to contribute to the cultural life of milwaukee and wisconsin.
